Father Mbaka comments on Nigeria's economic crisis

Ejike Mbaka, has commented on the ongoing economic crisis in Nigeria. The prominent man of God noted that there were multiple solutions to the economic recession. He also advised the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government to be more creative and look inward to find ways of diversifying the economic to create jobs and empower the youths. Father Mbaka spoke during the Holy Mass organised to inaugurate the 2016/2017 Legal Year of the Enugu State Judiciary held at his ministry, with Ugwuanyi in attendance. READ ALSO: Father Mbaka sends strong warning to Buhari The outspoken cleric has commended the performance of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state, defining it as a model display of visionary leadership. He also stated that it was informative that Ugwuanyi’s government had invested in peace across the state and united diverse political interests, advising the people to “continue to support his administration because it has been anointed by God”. Mbaka added that the governor’s leadership style had nourished development particularly in this period of recession, praying God to grant him the grace to spread out infrastructural growth to suburban communities to link up such areas with the urban centres. He also proscribed the younger practitioners to imbibe the ethic of hard work and discipline that would ensure them to rise to the zenith of their career. Catholic preacher became famous after his controversial prediction that former president Jonathan would be swept away by the wind of change in the last presidential poll. Mbaka was among those who predicted the victory of President Buhari and he is a frequent guest in Aso Rock presidential villa.
