  Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, has encouraged the club to go all out and land Eden Hazard from Chelsea this summer. Nigeria’s number one man, President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly set aside N1 billion for travels in 2019. President Muhammadu Buhari is to spend N1. 001 billion on travels this year, a report by SaharaReporters has shown. The detailed 2019 budget, which he signed into law early this week, showed that the president would spend N751.296 million traveling around the world and another N250. 021 million locally. According to the budget, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will also spend N217.060 million on foreign travels and another N83. 74 million on local travels. N3.822 billion was earmarked for annual routine maintenance of mechanical/electrical installations in the Villa. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, has arrested the proprietor of a Yahoo Yahoo training school in Lagos, Frank Chinedu. Chinedu, 22, was arrested alongside eight students of the unnamed training centre located at 14, Animashaun Street, Progressive Estate, Ojodu Berger, Lagos, while receiving lectures in internet fraud activities. The students are: Ahmed Musa, 24; Desmond Eze, 29; Preye Kingsley, 23; Benjamin Irabor, 21; Benjamin Opah, 19; Akapo Prosper, 22; Innocent Paul, 20 and Olamide Edun, 20. The suspected internet fraudsters were arrested under cover on May 22, 2019, following intelligence reports received by the Commission about their involvement in alleged criminal activities. Items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest include nine laptops, 16 mobile phones, an Airtel modem, Orange Wifi and one Toyota Camry with registration number EPE406FN. The suspects will soon be charged to court.

A Lagos State Prosecutor, Mrs Y. A. Pitan, has told an Igbosere High Court in Lagos that former Super Eagles captain, Austin Okocha, has not liquidated the alleged tax debt he owed the state. Pitan told Justice Adebayo Akintoye on Tuesday that Okocha had visited the Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) office but failed to settle the 2017 income tax, NAN reports. “The LIRS informed us that the defendant (Okocha) visited their office. He went there to reconcile accounts but has not settled yet,” she said. The prosecutor said that the former national football player had also failed to appear in court since Oct. 5, 2017, when the case first came up. Okocha was not in court and was not represented by any lawyer either, and the judge renewed the warrant for his arrest for the third time. Prior to his death, Adekunle’s father, Hakeem Adeyemi Kosoko was the Permanent Secretary of Education District 4 in Lagos State. Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari Monday night admitted that the country’s security apparatus has declined, making citizens vulnerable to different attacks of insurgency groups. President Buhari, who begins his second term in office Wednesday, May 29, made the assertion in an interview aired on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). “The security in relation to when I was in command has really gone down.
